Husband. Father. Musician. Jazz Musician. Composer of deep, meaningful music. If I can't inspire you, I need to pick another vocation. Love my wife. Love my kids. Love my friends. Love connecting with people through the music that comes to my heart and makes it onto the bandstand. The guys in my band are always my friends. We care about each other as well as giving it all we've got when it's time to play. When I get the band together for a gig it's not really about me but us. Not just about us but about the music. Not just about the music but about the people who give us their ear for a moment in time. That's what makes playing together so rewarding. We want to move you, inspire you, and share our joy with you.

Besides all that, I have my undergrad in Saxophone Performance from the University of South Carolina and a Master's in Jazz Studies from the University of North Texas. I played tenor in the US Army Blues Jazz Ensemble in Washington, D.C. for 21 years, and am currently Professor of Saxophone and Jazz Studies at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA.
